Halquinol is anti-bacterial drugs. Mainly used for intestinal infectious diseases and prevention of feed fungal infection .Can add to animal feeds for prevention of E.Coli and Salmonella infections.
In general, Halquinol is a topical hydroxyquinoline antibiotic and amebicide. To be exactly, it is an important chlorinated derivative of 8 hydroxy quinoline. Halquinol is also used orally in calves to treat diarrhea. It mainly contains 5,7-dichloro-8 hydroxyquinoline and 5-chloro-8 hydroxyquinoline as major components while 7-chloro-8 hydroxyquinoline is present as a minor component. Halquinol Raw Material, API and Halquinol 60% is recognized as one of the most approved non antibiotic, antimicrobial agent and also as an excellent growth promoter for broilers.
